Ramayo Water ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you request a free water test through ramayowater.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you book a water test we collect your full name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, property type, water source, preferred date and time, and any optional notes you provide. We also collect technical information automatically: IP address, browser user agent, referrer URL, and UTM parameters from links you clicked to reach us.
How we use it
We use your information only to: (1) schedule and perform your free water test; (2) contact you by phone and email about your appointment; (3) verify service coverage in your area; (4) improve our website and services through aggregated analytics; and (5) comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Phone and email communications
When you submit our booking form, you consent to be contacted by Ramayo Water about your free water test using the phone number and email address you provide — for example, to confirm your appointment, coordinate the exact time, or share your results. At this time we contact you only by phone call and email; we do not send marketing or automated SMS text messages. Standard call or data rates from your carrier may apply. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any email or telling us by phone.
Service providers
We use trusted processors to operate our service: Neon (database hosting), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (SMS delivery), Upstash (rate limiting), PostHog (privacy-friendly analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), and Vercel (web hosting). These vendors process your data only on our behalf and under their own privacy commitments.
Cookies and analytics
We use first-party cookies and PostHog to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. You can disable cookies in your browser; the booking funnel will still work.
Data retention
We retain booking records for as long as needed to provide our services and for legitimate business and legal purposes (typically up to 7 years). You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@ramayowater.com.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
