Ramayo Water is a brand of Ramayo Services LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a Florida limited liability company, and we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you request a free water test through ramayowater.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you book a test we collect your full name, phone number, email address (optional), ZIP code, property type, water source, and any optional notes. We also automatically collect technical information: IP address, browser, referring URL and UTM parameters.
How we use it
We use your information only to: (1) schedule and perform your free water test; (2) contact you by phone, SMS, WhatsApp and email about your appointment; (3) verify coverage in your area; (4) send you reminders and follow-up about your test IF you checked the optional box on the form; (5) improve our site through aggregate analytics; and (6) meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for their marketing.
Phone and email communications
When you submit our booking form, you consent to be contacted by Ramayo Water about your free water test using the phone number you provide — for example, to confirm your appointment, coordinate the exact time, or share your results. We contact you by phone call, WhatsApp, SMS and email. We use two numbers: an automated one, (954) 335-6552, that sends the booking confirmation and, only if you checked the optional box described below, reminders and follow-up; and (954) 817-4092, which is a person from the team. Messages about your appointment are part of the service you asked for and are not advertising. Standard call or data rates from your carrier may apply. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any message or telling us by phone.
Marketing messages and how to opt out
Separately from those service messages, the booking form has an OPTIONAL, unchecked box to receive reminders and follow-up by SMS, WhatsApp or email. We only send those if you checked it, and we store the date, the exact sentence you agreed to and the device you agreed from, in case it ever has to be proven. Checking it is not a condition of booking or of buying anything. Frequency is low: at most one message a day and three a week, or up to two a day and four a week in the first days after you book. Reply STOP to any SMS or WhatsApp to stop receiving them (or HELP to find out who we are), use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or write to ramayo@ramayowater.com. Carrier rates may apply. People who booked before this box existed do not receive follow-up messages: to send them any, we would have to ask permission first and they would have to say yes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
Service providers
We use trusted processors to operate our service: Neon (database hosting), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (SMS and WhatsApp delivery), Upstash (rate limiting), PostHog (privacy-friendly analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), and Vercel (web hosting). These vendors process your data only on our behalf and under their own privacy commitments.
Cookies and analytics
We use first-party cookies and PostHog to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. You can disable cookies in your browser; the booking funnel will still work.
Data retention
We retain booking records for as long as needed to provide our services and for legitimate business and legal purposes (typically up to 7 years). You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email ramayo@ramayowater.com.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
